We proudly represent more than 75,000 craft professionals across Indiana.

The Indiana State Building & Construction Trades Council is the umbrella labor organization representing all of Indiana’s Building Trades Unions and their members. Organized in 1910, the state council is chartered through North America’s Building Trades Unions (NABTU).

The state council coordinates activities of common interest to the collective membership and works to promote economic development, work-site safety, and apprenticeship and journey-level training. The council works with affiliated unions to organize workers and assist in the securing of better wages, hours, and working conditions for the membership through collective bargaining and legislative action.
