2026 Edwin Marsh Scholarship Winners

School
Ball State University

Colin is a two time winner of the Edwin Marsh Scholarship. He is now in his third year of studies at Ball State, majoring in Music Performance with a certificate in Entrepreurship. Colin graduated high school with an Associates Degree, was on the Dean’s list throughout his time at the Miller College of Business; he then continued on the Dean’s List while at the School of Music, and is the youngest person to place in the Ball State University Concerto Competition. Colin strives to obtain a Master’s degree and to perform in Broadway musicals. Colin’s father, Kenny Hayes, is a member of Glaziers Local 1165.

St. Mary’s College

Season is in her second year at St. Mary’s majoring in Business Administration, with a concentration in Management.  She graduated in the top ten of her highschool class of 2025 and is now completing a two-year apprenticeship at Surf Internet through Careerwise HEA. Season’s career goal is to own and operate her own florist shop. Her father, Jason Geans, is a member of IBEW Local 153.

College of Medicine

Paige is in her second year of Medical Science with a minor in Integrative Health.  She is a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority and is currently serving as their director of member conduct. Paige plans to attend medical school post-graduation and has a strong interest in Pediatrics. Her father, Andrew Russell, is a member of IBEW Local 305.

Ironworkers Local 22 Apprenticeship Program
Indiana State University

Braden is in his third year of the Ironworkers Apprenticeship program.  Since beginning, he has earned his welding certification, and made the deans list at Indiana State University for the past two years.  Braden is looking forward to finishing his apprenticeship with the Ironworkers and graduating from Indiana State University with a construction management degree.
